Who Should Avoid Platinum Plapeel Treatment?

[Who Should Avoid Plapeel Treatment?]

Platinum Plapeel is a highly popular treatment at our salon ?.
It’s gentle on the skin and suitable for most skin types. However, there are certain situations where the treatment may not be suitable. Please review the following information before your appointment.

1. Pregnant or Breastfeeding Individuals

During pregnancy, hormonal changes can make the skin more sensitive, potentially leading to adverse reactions. While Plapeel is generally safe and has no direct impact on the fetus, we err on the side of caution and do not perform this treatment on pregnant or breastfeeding individuals to avoid any possible risks.

2. Recently Sunburned Skin or Active Skin Conditions

If you have recently experienced a sunburn, active skin inflammation, or are undergoing treatment for a skin condition, we advise against receiving the treatment.
While Plapeel is low-irritation and painless, post-treatment redness or skin sensitivity may still occur. Please inform us in advance if you have sunburn, inflammation, or recent dermatological procedures.

3. Individuals Under 16 Years of Age

Due to hormonal imbalances common in individuals under 16, the skin may be more sensitive to treatments. For this reason, we do not perform Plapeel on clients under 16 years of age.

4. Additional Precautions

  • If you regularly use high-concentration Vitamin C, Retinol, peeling agents, lasers, or facial waxing, these could increase redness or irritation during or after the treatment.
  • Avoid such treatments before and after Plapeel. If you’ve recently undergone any of these, please inform us during your consultation.

General Advice

Plapeel is safe for sensitive or atopic skin types. However, depending on your skin’s condition on the day of treatment, it may be better to delay the procedure. If you’re uncertain or have any concerns, feel free to contact us for advice. We’re happy to assist!
